Get to know me!
Hey, it’s Krish Patel. I am a Computer Engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University and a DCGPU Virtualization Validation Co-op at AMD. I focus on building reliable systems through hands-on validation and automation in Python and Bash on Linux. My work includes crafting repeatable test flows, performing kernel and driver level checks, parsing registers and logs for fast triage, and documenting clear runbooks that help teams move from bug to fix with less friction.
My project portfolio spans personal endeavors, collaborative initiatives within school engineering teams such as TMAV, and participation in engineering competitions. Through these experiences I have learned to scope problems, prototype quickly, communicate tradeoffs, and ship results that stand up under constraint. I stay grounded in my studies by applying course concepts in systems, networking, and embedded work to real projects.
Outside of academics, I run a growing home lab centered on Ryzen powered servers. I design, build, and tune my stack, containerize services, and keep a strong focus on observability, backup, and automation. You can see snapshots of builds and notes at
server.krishadmin.com.
My hobbies include exploring new operating systems, deploying Docker containers, and always looking for ways to optimize performance and reliability. In my free time between classes I edit my websites, tinker with infrastructure, and keep leveling up my networking skills through CCNA and Ubiquiti courses.
